I love all of her costumes, all she wears suits perfect on her because she's perfect. But maybe Gwendal like that the most because of that. My favourite is this year CAM, liberta (also the blue, I really like them), and one that is extremelly sexy and I really like on her it's the pink Tres Deseos !!

and what about the flamenco dress? I agree. That is a great costume on Marina. I liked when she used to wear the Andalucian comb in her hair during competitions.

Why is the Andalusian comb not worn for every performance?
"When Flamenco is their first exhibition in a show, Marina has time to build the required chignon so as to nail up the "peineta" securely into it. In the present situation, such may not be always the case. The comb is quite heavy."

MQL - October 2007 1.) Will you take part in COI tour once more this year? Yes, we’ll. 2.) Apart from COI, are there any other projects we will be able to see you in?I’m going for a russian Tour organized by the russian TV channel 2 (“Russia”) as a continuation of “Dancing on Ice” - from Nov. 9 to Dec. 20, 2007. My partner will be Nikita Dzhigurda. We’ll visit several places - up to Siberia. I’m very happy to have this opportunity to visit my country because I know many others better than mine!. Then, there are proposals for Shows with Gwendal in Europe, Japan, Russia, etc. 3.) What are your 3 favorite costumes in which you skated?I like all my costumes. Each one represents a moment in my life, has its own story. My 3 favorite ones are : “Liberta” because it was made to my own design – “ Man in the iron mask” - then, the black dress that covered my left leg and was slit on the other side (a “universal” costume used for CD and FD practices (season 1999-2000). 4.) I've read in some Russian newspaper that you and Nikita will play together in theater in musical, is that true?Nikita has proposed me doing a show with him. 5.) It was written in one journal that you signed contract for 5 years, does it mean you will skate in "Dancing on ice" for 4 more years? Not true. 6.) Did you have any influence on choice of music and choreography in "Dancing on ice"?I had no influence at all. 7.) What is the craziest thing you have ever done?I have never done the craziest thing yet ! 8.) Are you planning on coming to Euros 2008 in Zagreb?I don't know yet. 9.) How did you get used to skating with another partner (Nikita) and what was the biggest challenge in it for you?Skating with Gwendal and Nikita is absolutely different. Gwendal and I do what we have learnt for many years (now, we understand each other even without speaking). The DOI partners were not skaters. We couldn't ask them to do the same. They all have suffered a lot. Their reactions were different from the athletes'. They started from naught (with brand new skates !) and had to learn everything in a very short time, which has generated plenty of stress. We didn't know anything about how the results would be. This experience was very difficult and very interesting - a true experience for both parties that had ambition and wanted to perform well. 10.) Any news about your Russian book, when can we expect it? Issue planned for Nov. 11*. *Latest news: It's planned for Nov 10. Big to Marina for taking the time to answer all the questions.
