About today: Stephane's flamenco was outstanding! Woah! I totally adore it!!! He absolutely could capture the feeling! Takahashi was super too, unbelievably difficult!!! And he's so cute when he started to cry by happiness, aaaaaaw!!!!! Verner ;D ;D ;D. I think if he had skated this FD that perfect at ECH, he would have won it before Joubert for sure!!! Well... Joubert wasn't bad, but this night Verner was better than him too, IMO... But he used his tactics very well, didn't risk anything. Clever. Btw he deserved it for his SP and LP together... I was sad becoz of Johnny... He started his program quite well... too bad OD: hm... I only could just hope that my pessimistic podium won't become real...

About Petrova&Tikhonov... well... they've never been in a worse position at Worlds than 4th (am I right?), so this 11th place was a bit humbling... and the possible results after the FP would have been humbling as well... so that's why they didn'T finish the competition. Actually, Simon and Chris said that Alexei had injured his foot and that's why they withdrew. Men: First of all, congrats to Brian! Second - Stephane Lambiel. Flamenco. I am so happy he managed to hold on to podium! So so happy! Too bad about the SP, but his LP was a spot on hit. For me, at least! That last spin....for a second there i thought someone fast-forwarded the tape it was so fast. I don't think I've seen one that fast. ;D ;D ;D Tomas Verner - Amazing! Simply amazing. Actually, after Rasha and I collected ourselves, Rasha asked me if I'm gonna do a forum for Tomas. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of him in the future. Alban Preaubert (sp?) - I really like him! He seems so unconventional and funky and I just can't not like him. ;D Sad about Johnny.

Dance: I'm in trouble. I'm now rooting for D/S (bul), D/S (fra) and D/L to win. Khokhlova/Novitski - I really liked them, if for nothing else then for inovative and interesting moves! ;D The Kerrs - What happened? They got 2 deductions for something...does anyone know what?

The Kerrs - What happened? They got 2 deductions for something...does anyone know what? No idea... quite mysterious... maybe one of their lifts was longer than it should have been... Judges take this very seriously... But I still donno... I love their FD, let's hope they'll reach a better position with it... at least I do hope My dream podium (I'm almost sure it won't become true... ): 1. D/S (French) 2. D/S (Bul) 3., 4., 5. I don't really care ;D

Could be, our commentator says stupid things *often* lol, anyway... too bad, poot P/T, mainy Tikhonov I'm sad they did not have a chance to say goodbye as Siudeks had. Their farewell was so emotional. ( It did remind me of M&G's Flamenco a lot. But then again, Antonio choreographed it, so some similarities were expected. ;D I think he already has a board. I agree about the progs, Zee. Usually it happens that I like SP or LP better, but I really liked both of his programs! Yay for that!

It did remind me of M&G's Flamenco a lot. But then again, Antonio choreographed it, so some similarities were expected. ;D Antonio? Really? ;D Our girlie said "he coreographed this program with a flamenco dancer"... she didn't mention Antonio... (neither did MG.... lol) Well if I really had to choose between the SP and the LP, I'd say the LP's coreography impressed me a little-tiny way more. But SP was excellent too. I wish he jumped a bit better, then a medal wouldn't far at all...!

Antonio? Really? ;D Our girlie said "he coreographed this program with a flamenco dancer"... she didn't mention Antonio... (neither did MG.... lol) Antonio is credited as the choreographer on ISU's bio page for Stephane. but but but...the buzzy bee!

i don't think D/S(fra) will medal with the ankle of isabelle well too bad anyway I'm afraid of this too , and neither just becoz of her ankle, nor becoz of their prog what I like very much, it fits to them... other reasons... I don't like that he usually chooses too popular musics... overlistened, predictable... at least IMO You'll have to! I recommend to watch Verner's SP from Euros and FP from Worlds... Just a perfect combo!

I don't like that he usually chooses too popular musics... overlistened, predictable... at least IMO I'd take Brian's music over Buttle's anytime! BTW - did anyone see Gregory/Petukhov? I've been away from the tv when they started skating and when i got back, I only saw guy with blonde hair in a pony tail. I think most of the building heard me squee "Gwendal!"

I'd take Brian's music over Buttle's anytime! Last year Buttle had a cute and funny prog, I think that was a SP... I liked that one, but in this year... hm... he's boring for me... I saw them... I must admit I don't remember... I can imagine how hard did both you and Rasha laugh.... and how long But from another POV it's interesting... do you remember their last season FD? Romeo&Juliet... same costume style as MG, but pink... and the best is that it was coreographed by Shae-Lynn
