Thanks for the translation, alena! I don't understand Russian as good as i thought. Re: Irina's pregnancy. I just want to remind everyone that if it is not confirmed by a skater or another person involved in it, it is considered a speculation, so let's try to be careful about that, okay?

Nena, same here. Well, you know people are huguely speculating everywhere, check the fsuniverse Still, we are just guessing and speculating I don't think there is anythin bad about it as long as we are not claiming it to be the only truth

Aw, alena, that sucks! But don't worry about it, if you manage to write it, it would be wonderful, if not...we'll live. Sami, i am aware of what's going on on FSU. Anyway...now there's a gossip thread so feel free to discuss it further there.

I will try to make it though - maybe in bits. So, sorry guys, I do not know the titles to most of the music bits of the show, but the main subject was Latin American music. The worst results are shared by Kiseleva-Marinin (who did a very nice tango, so I am sorry about the low results), Berezhnaya-Nosik (a cute number to "Pasadena" - with him dressed up as a sailor, but he let her fall on the final lift Nothing serious thanks god, but it affected the marks) Semenovich-Razbegaev. Those two were unlucky as well - wonderful number to the Mariachi song from "Desperado" movie sung by Antonio Banderas - they showed some new lift, but he fell on some steps and cut her leg a bit with his skate's blade. A pity indeed.

So, the day was made by Navka-Basharov. They repeated their dance to Chihuaua (they skated it at opening gala), but made it like a parody. They stepped onto the ice wearing ballet outfits and acting like ballet dancers, who were suddenly made to dance to latin dance music - they earned all 6.0s for it, and that was fair - I may not like Navka, but it has been a little masterpiece Second place goes for Dapkunaite-Zhulin's rhumba. Slow and elegant dance, like the last one - a fair second place yet again. The third place was diveded between Guseva-Kostomarov and Bolshova-Tikhonov. I think both pairs got higher marks then they deserved. I did like Bolshova-Tikhonov's number though - a little spectacle to "Besame mucho" - a scene from the life of Latin American farmers, but it lacked technical difficulty. As for Guseva-Kostomarov - I did not understand their dance at all - the music says nothing to me - they skated in kinda training costumes with fake bandages - he got one on his leg and she - on her arm. What that was supposed to mean - no idea Next in the ranks were Petrova-Butman. And they should have been higher, for they did another very nice number - this time to Mambo N 5. Masha gets more and more beautiful from dance to another Next - Glukoza-Siharulidze. Sorry, you, Siharulidze fans, but I just cannot stand this duet. They are damn boring, but very ambitious without any reason to be such. A number to Glukoza's own song in bosa nova rythm. Same result as Glukoza-Siharulidze was shared by Lobacheva-Sutkin. They did a number to Las Ketchup's hit, where they were dressed as cooks and there was a cooker on ice. Too much props if you ask me And finally - Pushkina-Yagudin. Finally a comic number - about and old hag (I'm sorry to say, but that's who Pushkina really is) and a young boy, who has to get along with her. A number includes a live doggy Nothing much interesting, but they are making some new lifts and in fact they are progressing.

So, Kiseleva-Marinin still left the show. But they made an amazing number in the last one - those who want to see Marinin dressed up as a sexy nurse - try to get that one! More about the show a bit later

He is terrific with the full make-up - go watch that if its already at fsvids When doing the interview, he first started with his normal voice, but Plushenko asked smth like "Dear nurse, what's that with you voice?" and he mimiced female high-pitched voice saying "Ah, soar throat, you know". Never expected him to have a sense of humour, but look

I saw it! Died of laughter! I couldn't even recognize him. Not until he spoke! Great! just great! I'm kinda sad they had to go. BTW - did you catch Marina in the audience?

And they skated to the song of famous Russian poet and singer Vladimir Vysotskij - a fun song about the advantages of doing gymnastics every day If you know Marina Vladi - a French actress (and she made an appearence at one of the TV-shows with Marina and Gwendal) - so she was Vysotskij's wife.
