I decided to go 2 days before the gala. I had some problems to get there, because of my university, tickets, travel cost,...Finally I went and I was very happy about this decision. With the ticket, it was a fun story...quitte complicated to get it, because it was actually a local event, so I didn't get the ticket in time. I had to call in Lyon, and a nice lady there did another reservation for me. Latter, I saw that every problem can turn into a good thing.
First, I went to see my friend. She told me" you know, I was was thinking about you some time ago. I saw your skater. He was on our direction meeting in our High school" ;D Btw this same friend, was in the same gymnastics group as Murielle, when they were on college. The world is really small
Finally, I got my ticlek and discoveret that the nice lady reserved for me a place in the VIP section (probably because there were no loft places...I was really , but the rink wos totally full). So I had a great view, but sincerely, I felt a little bit wrong there. Everyone knew everyone, they vere speaking about their friends - Murielle, Marina, Pernelle,... ;D Skaters weve coming to say them "hi"... I could speak to M+G before or during the show, but there were many people they knew, so I didn't want to bother. And sadly, it was really long, so after the end, I had to hurry I wanted to thank them for the great show,...well, hopefully the next time
First time I saw Marina, I was only This lady really knows how to look fashionable even in the practice outfit (black with gold decorations, gold shos,... ) she was looking for someone...

A moment latter, she found this person and was retourning wirh her...and I was like once more. It was one Russian celebrity....and not Nikita (he wasn't there and I think neither babies were, but about it latter ).... I was like:"But wait, I know her...oh no, but it's ....LERA" ;D ) In reality, she's very tiny. She looks tall on the tv to me, but she's like Marina.

actually I didn't saw Lera with Gwendal at all, which was quitte mysterious. It was Marina who was "taking care" of her all the time, she brought her her jacket with "France" on it ;D, gloves,.... There was also some photographer with them, so I though they were doing some article or tv show about Marina. Latter, I saw her twitter( but about it latter).
All the show was really beautiful. Even if I'm not a big fan of gymnastics and another special numbers in ice shows, here, it was done really well and it was very interesting. And all in all, the quality of skating of Lyon skaters is so good that it's lovely to watch even the young skaters. Also, it was fun to see old and well known costumes on those young girls

Concerning other stars...surprisingly, and even if I'm not their fan, I liked Pernelle and Lloyd more than Isa and Oli...you can really see they're competitive skaters right now, they're really in form. They presented their new free program and a new exhibition, which was simply lovely...very very funny
Isa and Oli are dancing great, but they're not touching my heart so much. And many moves vere repeated in both programs. I'd love to see their last years FD, shame they're not doing it in the shows.
I also really like the young team Zahorski/Miart and not only because of her hair and Marina's costume ;D
As for MG, they did TTSGB in the first half.
Comparing to Aubagne, they were in much better shape and...what can I tell you? I love them, so for me, it's always very emotional moment. I loved it so so much. It was incredibly beautiful.
And I think I'm not the only one who loved it, as the whole ring (probably, I didn't check all my side ;D) did standing ovation for them
In the second half, it was the time for Flamenco, which I liked even more than before... I saw it already many times, but this time, I enjoyed it very much...and I think they did as well
And we had also a right for an encore...shortened version of Susana

There was clearly something between Gwendal and this gymnast i84.photobucket.com/albums/k29/sykr/Gala%20des%20stars%20Lyon/P1240433.jpg
Sadly, I didn't understood what exactly the host said...but I saw them together even of the ice which can mean nothing as well ;D
All in all, even during the final bow, it was clear they enjoyed the show and performing and this is imo the most important.

Personally I loved the gala, the atmosphere was stunning and both CSGL and gymnastic club did a great job
My big thank you to everyone who took part in the organization of this event and especially to Marina and Gwendal
The rest of the pictures (excuse the quality and especially videos quality, but when I travel to some show, I try especially to enjoy it, so I did my best, but it's sometimes hard when you're trying to watch skating and doing video at the same moment )
