Okay back from work, here's my list along with stories:
Alexei Yagudin I met him during a practice session at World Championships. He was standing on the ice signing autographs and chatting with fans. Very friendly... And then the practice session ended but he still wanted to chat so when the announcer said for all skaters to clear the ice... he ignored her... She tried again and he still ignored, kept talking with us. Then the zamboni came on and he is still on the ice, only moved away from the boards long enough to let the zamboni pass and then right back again... After that the next practice group comes on and he still won't leave although the announcer has asked around five times or so. Finally she says into the microphone "Mr. Yagudin, would you please get off the Ice before I lose MY job!" He turns around gives her a quick wave and hops up on the boards sitting with his feet dangling two feet above the ice and then turns back to chat some more lol. After that the announcer shut up and he stayed about 20 more minutes or so.
Megan Wing & Aaron LoweThese two were sitting in the stands at a practice session and I asked for their autograph but their coach said not until the practice session was over and to come back. They smiled and said hi and stuff but they weren't allowed to sign stuff. Megan and Aaron looked a bit apologetic about it. Anyways it was a misunderstanding I thought the coach meant after the WHOLE practice session, but I guess she just meant that segment of it and they had left before the full thing was over, but they sent me a letter in the mail soon after and apologized for the misunderstanding and said that they hoped I enjoyed watching the worlds and they sure did (they weren't competing that year, just watching) and sent me a personalized autograph photo with a little message or something on it... (I forget what it says just now)
Jennifer RobinsonNot much to tell here, Just sorta said hi to her and she chatted quickly but I didn't get an autograph or anything.
Jamie Sale & David PelletierMet these two a couple times actually, managed to get photos with them both times and autographs as well, plus they sent me a postcard with an autograph and a quick note on it in the mail at one point too.
(In the second photo I'm with my siblings as well, and interesting story, the girl with black hair in the background, you can't see her face, but anyways I met her online about a week later, had no idea who she was before that! LOL!)
Kurt BrowningGot his autograph and talked briefly. He told us that he had lost his skates on the airline and it turns out they had accidently been shipped to Japan! He had to compete in old skates that were sent as urgent instead. The funny thing is that a few weeks later my younger brother was doing a grammer assignment in school and they had to edit the sentences to add the correct punctuation in them... One of the random sentences he had to edit said "Kurt Browning told me "I lost my skate"" LOL My brother was very tempted to ignore the punctation and just change it to say "Kurt Browning told me that he lost BOTH his skates, and then found them in Japan"
He also almost stole my pen but remembered to bring it back last second lol
Shae-Lynn Bourne & Victor KraatzI met these two seperately from each other. Victor was kinda funny cuz when I handed him a pen and photo to get his autograph he only wanted to use his own pen. He had some black felt he liked writing with lol. Also Victor used to write me letters sometimes and a couple times he sent personalized autographed photos from him and Shae with them... He just used to write about stuff like his summer, or how he was doing in looking for a new house and choosing music for programs, I think I had 4 or 5 letters or something. He once accidently wrote to me that he was choosing the music for the Original Dance and that "Shoe" was picking for the FD lol.
Marie-France Dubreuil & Patrice LauzonI've only met Marie once but Patch I met twice, I got autographs every time but not photos (at least not with me in them). The first time Patch signed a big poster I had brought to worlds that said "We come for the Zamboni" lol! But I had his autograph from another time so I gave that copy to my bro
Rosalynn SumnersShe spent the weekend at the local rink and was in a show that I was volunteering at. I think she's related to one of the coaches there or something... I got an autograph and a couple pictures taken with her, but my sister isn't much of a photographer so the first one we are missing our heads ROFL! She was quite friendly, she went out for dinner with us and I helped her with her costume during the show because the latch was broken and , poor Roz, the top of her dress fell down during her double axel!!! To make matters worse, it happened again the next night too! I didn't see it as I was backstage stage for those but she told me about it afterwards.
My little brother was only around 6 at the time he met her and he got her to autograph his book of "101 dalmations" lol. Also she asked him how he was doing and he was a little starstuck and just says "I'm Paul". I don't seem to have the photo of me and her on my computer right now, I'll try to post it later.
Dorota Zagorska-Siudek & Mariusz SiudekI met these two and got their autographs and and then Mariusz kept trying to give me some program that belonged to someone else. He thought it was mine and was insisting I take it but it wasn't mine at all, I don't know whose it was. I tried to tell him but he kept insisting lol... I think his English wasn't great at the time. Finally Dorota noticed and explained to him and he gave her the book instead lol. She autographed it but the owner of it must have left I dunno, so she kept it.... Funny autographing something for yourself
Of course I've talked to Mariusz online often as well since he's a member of fsvids
Barbara Fusar-Poli & Maurizio MargaglioI met Maurizio first and then he went over to the other end of the rink hallway after giving me an autograph, then I met Barbara and she gave an autograph too, both were VERY friendly, probably the friendliest skaters I've met and joking around and stuff, and even though I like them I wasn't really a huge fan but I like them more after meeting them because of their personalities... Anyways, I have a funny story about Barb though, this young girl was sitting beside me, I don't really know her but she's about 12, anyways, she had a jacket that she was getting skaters to autograph and she wanted the dancers and pairs to keep their signatures beside their partners ones on the coat. So anyways I got Barbara to come over and sign the girls jacket for her (I had already got the autograph) and Maurizio was standing aways away and had signed for the girl earlier... Well the girl didn't really know what his signature looked like (it's not the neatest lol) and she's trying so hard to find it so Barb can sign beside it, but she can't find it and Barb really was rushed cuz her practice was starting soon so the girl tosses her the coat and says "Please find your partner and sign beside him" Barb didn't quite get what was going on at first and she gives the girl a look like "WHY?" lol but jokingly and then obediantly walks across to her partner, stands beside him, signs the coat no where near his signature and comes back to give the coat back lol.
Hongbo ZhaoI didn't get to meet his partner Xue "Jasmine" Shen but I did meet Hongbo and he gave autographs, the funny story isn't so much him as my friend though. Some of the skaters have quite messy writing and she was having fun trying to decipher their names. Anyways she was staring at his autograph for about 15 minutes looking puzzled before she finally says to me, "Okay some are bad, but I can't make a single letter out on this one!" I looked down at it and says "Yeh, he wrote in chinese" lol
Portia Rigby & Francis RigbyThese two were so cute
They didn't place high enough in compulsories to do the OD but hey, Francis didn't start skating til he was 19 years old so going to worlds was great for them
They were amazed when everyone started asking for autographs, they were like "Really?! You want OURS?!" haha. I met them three times, the first I just got an autograph. The second time I asked to take a photo with them, it's hard to explain but that day we were sitting sorta above them and handing the stuff down into the area where skaters warm up to sign. Anyways he was like sure and then he said he thought I should be in it too so he lifted me over the railing and into the skaters warmup area to get it and then I talked shortly with him and he lifted me back to the top. Picture was too over exposed though

Also a couple skaters that I've not really met but sorta just said "hi" to or (in the case of Karen Magnussen bumped into her literally lol),
Karen Magunussen, Lena Berezhnaya, Brian Orser, and if you want to count Mira Leung lol but she was little at the time and not famous (I think she was 6 or 7 lol)
