i was watching with my mom and dad a film yesterday - it was called "awakenings" - starring robin williams and robert de niro. such an amazing movie and robert de niro is absolutely fantastic!!! it was a movie based on a true story. it was about a doctor (williams) who worked with a patients that suffered from encephalitic (one of the is de niro). the doctor found some new drog which helped those people and they started to live as before. but one day the drog stopped to work and they were "ill" again... de niro's performance was unbelieveable!!! you really believed him every movement he did!!! you really have to see this movie (although it's quite old - it's from 1990)

Last week i saw Volver by Almodóvar. And according to my opinion it's I liked it so so much. It's ironic, and despite of the story (wich is a bit absurd and bizarre)sometimes very funny. So a real Almodóvar one, if you know, what I'm thinking of. I can offer it to everybody. It's a really well done job.

I saw it. Yes, I recommend it, it's a entertaining movie. Just a tip, though. Try not to let your mind wander off to other things during Paris scenes.

Gotta share my The Lake House movie toughts with you. Before I actually hit it off, didnt you just LOVE the music? Sometimes I found myself being more focused on the music background desperately tryin to recognize the artists behind those songs than the actual story that was going on. Despite all this the movie was one of the best I have seen this year. Loved the characters, loved the actors and THE DOG Keanu must be at his bests these last few years and come on they always had * a thing * about each other with Sandra and I mean you can see it so clearly on the screen that they are real soulmates. What impresses me the most tough is the intimacy and mystery of that movie that gets under your skin..sometimes I caught myself running through different scripts and plans in my head I would have used to make it through to a person that is just beyond my reach. My fave part must have been the scene where she sits alone in the restaurant realizing he would not show up eventually or the one where they exchange their favourite things. Btw have to agree..the rain just at the end of a picnic is a shivering thing to feel To conclude, I fell in love with this movie...and I fell in love with Keanu for the umpteen time...Btw, a few words about Sandra. There is something so special about the way she can picture the grief and sadness in women life..so vividly and emotionally..she handled her role in "Hope Floats" extremely well despite the movie's lack of plot and action and this is something I have a deep respect of. The Lake House was a blast.

I just saw "Ice Princess". I'm not getting through the story or the "technicalities", but: Michelle T + Christophe Beck + ice skating = fandomorgasm! Squeee! My thoughts during the Sectionals: 'Hm...that (LP) dress reminds me of R&J costumes.' 'Get up!!! Get up!! You're getting deductions for lying on the ice too long!!!!' ~ after MT's character falls and is in shock or whatever. 'Oooh, she'll get extra points for jumps after 2:00 min mark!'
