No. Zee came for Golden Spin last year. This year it's in November. Rasha and I will be there if anyone wants to join us.

Seems that this year's OD is very very interesting! Thank you very much kyrie for all these wonderful photos! The costumes are really lovely! By the way,did you watch ladies competition? I like Mirai Nagasu, but I think her marks are low, maybe she made some mistakes there...

Sorry, franzlfan, I haven't seen ladies at all. I find them less trilling than others, and while I wanted to see Mirai, I didn't wanna suffer through 3+ hours just to do that. I have hoped to see her on gala, but in the end it was cancelled. From what I heard she had problems with her jumps, some were downgraded and she had a fall.

Thank you very much Kyrie for the information! Yes I fully understand you about staying so long for just a performance. In fact I myself are considering whether going to this year's COC(Cup of China) or not. You know, the ladies who are coming to COC are great, like Carolina Kostner,Alissa Cziney,Yuna Kim,Susanna Poykio,Caroline Zhang,Fumie Suguri......But the dance teams are not my favourite. I want to see Davis/White,Virtue/Moir,Khorkhlova/Novitski and of course Pechalat/Bourzat, but none of these four teams are coming to COC...... So I'm just hesitating from time to time. Ice dance is my favourite event.
And for Mirai, she seems to grow a lot this year,so it may be difficult for her to keep those jumping techniques. I hope she can do it well in the future...

Ice dance is my favourite event. Ice dancing is my favorite event too. I'm excited about all those teams, especially P/B. While I do not care much for their Flamenco OD , their FD seems very interesting. ;D I'm very interested what will K/N come up with this year. And while you don't get those couples, you get Kerrs. And men's event is pretty good too.

Yes the men's event is so exciting, especially with Johnny,Stephane and Evan! I have the same feeling with you about P/B's new OD,I think they don't really get into the flamenco. But again, they usually shine on FD,I hope they can get it better as the season goes forward. The Kerrs are very good dance team, and this is the first time that they come to COC I think,so it will be interesting. It was a shame that I didn't get chance to see last year's COC for some reasons. Last year both Khorkhlova/Novitski and Carron/Jost came to China and both team had a great time. I wish the young teams may come in the future,I really like them. I've just seen Carron/Jost's new FD to Chopin's Nocturne, which was choreographed by Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon,a very very beautiful and romantic dance indeed! Love it!
