Earving has a great idea regarding Christmas cards for Marina and Gwendal.
We can all write our wishes by hand on a piece of paper, then scan it or take a picture, then we gather all those notes and compile them in one big card. It can of course be decorated with holiday-appropriate items and such and as always, more ideas are welcome.
Deadline should be around Dec. 19, so there's enough time to compile the card and make any adjustments.
Earving, is it possible you could help with compiling the card? Or anyone else who is familiar with a graphic program (PS, PSP, Gimp)?

Also, it might be good to make separate ones for both Marina and Gwendal. Any help is welcome.

Wonderful idea! ;D Normally, I would offer to help but this Saturday I will be on that big Delta Airlines jet bound for Oahu, Hawaii. I already warned Nena that my Christmas cards are likely to be very late or non-existant this year. I hope someone posts the card so I can see it. All, have a wonderful Christmas or whatever holiday you may celebrate at this time of year. Michele

I already warned Nena that my Christmas cards are likely to be very late or non-existant this year. It's the thought that counts. Earving, I'll probably be able to do it, but it depends on how well the Christmas skin will be going and also how busy will I be in RL.

So we all need to do 2 things: 1) Take white paper and wright our wishes (short, 1-2 lines with 10 words) 2) Send it to me to earving@gmail.com with name "Cristmas card". I'll try to make one big card in this weekends if I will have our wishes;))) BUT! I'm not sure that I could make beautiful background to our card:( becouse I haven't Photoshop now and will be using unknown for me Gimp. So I will be happy if somebody will making this background Or... what kind of idea do you have, Ky?

Only 1-2 lines I know it should be short, but isn't it too short??? I tried to write my wishes yesterday, but it took me 5 lines.I can cut smething, but 2 lines seems too short to me... And about the paper,I had one idea....maybe we all could write on decorated paper (or do some decorations on it) so that you are not obliged to do background ? I don't know how it would look, what do you think about it?

Sysi, make it 2 loooong lines. Why the limit in lines, earving? Well, I was thinking, if we're writing the wishes by hand, then the digital form should be on a paper of some kind, maybe papyrus or any "old-looking"paper texture if we want to make it look old. If we go for modern version, then it could be like a white letter-ish box on a holiday-themed picture. The problem with writing on a decorated paper is would need to be light so all the letters are readable. Writing it on a plain white paper (no lines) makes it easier to extract the writing and incorporate it into chosen design.
